TEN THOUSAND LAKES FLUTE CIRCLE (TTLFC)
PLEASE NOTE: Due
to a disk failure I have lost many email addresses. If you
have not received an email regarding the flute circle
since July, 2010 please contact me and I'll get you back
on the list.
Whether you've been playing for years or just starting
out, the Ten Thousand Lakes Flute Circle offers an
atmosphere where members help one another express their
personal voice on the Native American flute.
The flute circle is not limited to the Native American
flute: ALL WORLD/ETHNIC FLUTES WELCOME.
It's a great environment to :
- meet others who enjoy
playing (or just listening) to the flute;
- see and hear flutes made
by a variety of flute makers;
- share music and musings
with one another; and,
- have questions about the
instrument and technique answered.
TTLFC is a great place to learn the basics of playing
the Native American flute and picking up tips from others.
New members are always welcome. There are no fees to be a
member, all you have to do is show up. You don't even need
to have a flute!
Please contact Bobb Fantauzzo for additional information.
TTLFC encourages, but does not require, members to join
The International Native American Flute Association (INAFA).
WHERE and WHEN
Starting in September of 2010, TTLFC will meet once a month
from September through June:
--the second Saturday of the month from 12
- 2 pm at Becketwood Cooperative (4300 West River
Parkway S., Minneapolis) [map]
