Bobb Fantauzzo / JazZen
Bobb Fantauzzo has developed a unique sound playing the Native American flute, colored by his affinity towards jazz. Called an "innovator" in playing the flute by some, Bobb plays "what he feels" as much as "what he hears".
In both live and recorded performances Bobb's goal is to create "a sound of feeling" in hopes that listeners may become embraced by the music and transported away from the ordinary and the expected. His personal performance mantra is: "Play to express, not to impress."
In addition to performing as a soloist, Bobb performs with a like-minded, like-hearted cello player named Aaron Kerr. Bobb and Aaron form the core of JazZen and have recently released their first CD as a duo.
